It opens with kaffir lime leaf, pink pepper, and neroli. Kaffir lime leaf is a neural sharpening agent, limonene and citronellal increase olfactory sensitivity and alertness, which means the wearer becomes more acutely present to what follows. Pink pepper adds a quality of sovereign attention: not aggression, not loudness, but the signal of someone who has arrived deliberately. Neroli opens the limbic gates.
Frankincense CO₂ arrives in the heart alongside rose absolute, red champaca, jasmine sambac, and myrrh resin. The frankincense is the most important single ingredient in the Wibawa accord and the one that requires the most candid explanation. Frankincense sspecifically Boswellia sacra from Oman, extracted by supercritical CO₂ to preserve the full volatile fraction contains incensole acetate. Incensole acetate activates TRPV3 ion channels in the brain, producing measurable theta brainwave states at 4–8 Hz. Theta is the frequency of deep meditation, of the hypnagogic threshold, of the state in which the habitual self loosens its grip. The base is the sovereign foundation. Gaharu Kalimantan oud , Aquilaria malaccensis from the Bornean interior, is the territorial anchor, the lineage note, the material that has been called the wood of the gods in every tradition that encountered it. Sandalwood Mysore triggers parasympathetic response on the skin: the body of the person closest to you slows its heartbeat when they inhale it at close range. Vetiver Haiti provides root and grounding, the quality of being so settled that nothing external can destabilise you. Benzoin resinoid adds sacred warmth. Labdanum absolute contributes ancient skin depth, structurally similar to ambergris. Ambrette seed CO₂ is the final note and the most significant: macrocyclic musks structurally near-identical to human androstenone, the pheromone compound associated with presence, dominance, and the involuntary social response to sovereign authority. The room does not know why it adjusts. It adjusts.
The accord projects for six to eight hours and deepens rather than fades.
